We joined hands with Atomic Fiction and Director Mauricio Baiocchi to handle several of the rotoscoping and paint work for this gorgeous short.

This piece captures the magical short lives of Cicadas who are in this case puppets animated by master animators. We tackled a lot of the complex wire removal of the puppets, rotoscoping them when not on green screens as well as delivering mattes for their tricky to extract shadows to be used by Atomic Fiction in comp.

It was a fun and a unique experience, and we feel lucky to have been a part of it.
